What Makes Us Different
We help patients make sense of complex health challenges by identifying patterns, reducing unnecessary complexity, and creating sustainable paths toward better health.
Why we exist.
Health x Wellness was founded from a simple but increasingly urgent question:
Why are so many people receiving care, yet still struggling to feel well?
Through years of clinical experience, a pattern became increasingly clear. Many patients were not dealing with a single isolated problem. Instead, they were navigating chronic stress, nervous system dysregulation, burnout, inflammation, hormonal disruption, exhaustion, pain, digestive concerns, and the cumulative effects of modern life.
Often, the challenge was not a lack of effort. Patients were working hard to improve their health. The challenge was that the body, mind, environment, habits, and stressors influencing their health were deeply interconnected.
At Health x Wellness, we believe sustainable health requires looking at the whole picture.
Our approach integrates clinical care, nervous system regulation, lifestyle medicine, herbal support, education, and practical strategies that help patients create lasting improvements in their health and daily lives.
The goal is not endless dependency on treatment. The goal is increasing clarity, capacity, resilience, and self-sufficiency over time.
Because health is not simply the absence of symptoms. It is the ability to live well, function well, and sustainably engage with the life you want to create.
Health is not built in a single appointment.
It is built through the daily relationship between your body, mind, habits, environment, and the choices that shape your life. At Health x Wellness, we provide integrative care designed to help you create health that can be sustained—not just achieved temporarily.
Our Philosophy
Health and wellness are not separate pursuits.
Health x Wellness was created from the belief that wellness is not separate from healthcare — it is often the foundation through which health becomes sustainable.
While acute interventions are sometimes necessary, long-term health frequently depends upon restoring:
regulation
rhythm
recovery
resilience
embodiment
sustainable daily habits
Care is approached collaboratively, recognizing that physiology, behavior, environment, stress, relationships, and meaning all influence health outcomes.
Rather than asking only, "What symptom needs to be treated?" we often ask:
"What conditions need to change for health to emerge?"

We've all seen the archetype: the strategist, advisor, or trusted guide people call when a situation becomes complicated, overwhelming, or difficult to untangle alone. Not because the problem is simple, but because complexity requires discernment, pattern recognition, calm, and the ability to identify what truly matters.
Over time, I realized many patients were looking for something similar in healthcare. Many had seen multiple providers, tried numerous approaches, and accumulated large amounts of information about their health, yet still struggled to understand why they felt the way they did. Their symptoms often no longer fit neatly into isolated categories, and the path forward felt increasingly unclear.
What many patients needed was not simply more information or another treatment recommendation. They needed someone who could step back, assess the bigger picture, identify patterns, reduce unnecessary complexity, and help create a realistic and sustainable path forward.
That realization became foundational to Health x Wellness.
I am a licensed acupuncturist with graduate training in acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Ayurveda, yoga therapy, and pain science. My education includes studies at Duke University, The Ayurvedic Institute, The New England School of Acupuncture at MCPHS University, clinical research at Harvard Medical School and advanced studies Tufts University School of Medicine, where I completed a Master of Science in Pain Research, Education, and Policy.
Over the course of my training and clinical practice, I became increasingly interested in the relationship between physiology, behavior, stress, environment, and long-term health outcomes. That perspective continues to shape the systems-based approach that guides my work today.
My approach combines clinical care with systems thinking, nervous system regulation, lifestyle medicine, herbal support, patient education, and sustainable behavior change. I work collaboratively with patients to understand the factors contributing to their health concerns and to develop practical strategies that support long-term improvement.
In many cases, patients do not need more noise added to their lives. They need: clarity, structure, regulation and sustainable action.
Health x Wellness exists to help patients move toward that possibility.
What Sets HxW Apart
Many healthcare experiences focus on isolated symptoms.
At HxW, we focus on patterns.
We look for the relationships between stress, sleep, recovery, nutrition, environment, behavior, physiology, and daily life that may be contributing to how you feel.
This systems-level approach helps identify opportunities for meaningful change while reducing unnecessary complexity and overwhelm.
You do not need to have everything figured out before seeking care.
Sometimes the first step is simply having someone help make sense of the bigger picture.
That is where Health x Wellness begins.
